Welcome To Our Team

On August 2, 2022, I wrote, “As of this writing the Abundance & Vitality Team consists of just me, Wes Rogers.  My vision is to grow this company rapidly, not by hiring employees but instead by building a Distributed Autonomous Organization of collaborators who share my vision and want to participate on the team to manifest this vision into existence.”
Exactly one month later, on September 2, 2022 our Distributed Autonomous Organization consisted of two team members.  In addition to me, Jeff Rey also joined the team.  On September 10, Irene joined our DAO team. 
On February 12, 2024 Cynthia joined the A&V DAO and we are very pleased to have her as a member of our team

I have been a software developer for 50 years and have always tried to build products that I want for myself.  Many times I had to build what my employer required that I build.  Whenever I did that, I chalked up the work and effort to learning the skills I would need to eventually create the product that I wanted for me.  Not for some mythical public consensus or what the marketing gurus said that people wanted.  My hypothesis was that if nobody had ever seen something before, how would they conceive or know if they wanted it or not.

Thus, I have always known that if I create what I want for me, I could not go wrong with making what the customer wanted because I am my own customer.  I truly hope you see my vision and want what I make.  I have conceived of several products that I want.  I built some and have not yet had sufficient skill to make them all.  Abundance & Vitality is not my ultimate dream of the product that I want for me.  I feel that it is not bad and a good step toward my current ultimate vision.  The sub-ultimate vision for Abundance & Vitality is this.  I like finding the things I like by searching on the internet and reading what other folks say about the products they want, need, and desire.  I use a lot of search engines and product sites to finally manifest into my life and the lives of my loved ones and pretty much enjoy doing this.  Sometimes I get frustrated though.  I think I can do better in many cases.  Some of my case studies include Amazon and Ebay.  I am sure I can make a better product vending site than Amazon and a better buying and selling and bidding site than Ebay.  Also, I recently built a site to solicit donations for a nonprofit charitable foundation.  In doing this, I realized the difficulties of funding a nonprofit foundation, charity, or church from donations by members and supporters.

This is the background behind Abundance & Vitality.  It is to create a better technology company focusing on e-commerce and artificial intelligence than Amazon and to simultaneously be a better buying and selling and bidding site than Ebay.  I don’t expect to grow into a large company.  I just want to have better quality and value.  I want to do well while doing good and being very fair.

If you think you might want to be on the team, I will be looking for vendors of products that enhance people’s Abundance or their Vitality or both.  I will be looking for people who like the idea of buying and selling and bidding.  Either as a buyer or a seller or both.  And I will be looking for anyone involved in a nonprofit organization such as a church, sports team, charity, or pet rescue, etc. and wants to fund the organization without soliciting donations from members and supporters but by creating revenue organically.  More about this is in the stories.  I am writing as fast as I can.  Both the software and the marketing text to get folks to see my vision and join me.
